About Me
Hi, I’m Chelsea, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Round Rock, Texas. I believe therapy works best when it feels real, supportive, and human - not overly clinical or intimidating. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are, talk openly about what’s going on in your life, and feel supported as you work toward meaningful change.
I bring over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, working across a variety of settings and with people from many different walks of life. This background allows me to approach therapy with flexibility, clinical depth, and a strong ethical foundation. I work with adults and teens navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, trauma, relationship challenges, motherhood and parenting stress, burnout, and emotional overwhelm - often individuals who appear high-functioning on the outside but feel stretched thin or disconnected on the inside.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and down-to-earth. I draw from evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT-informed skills, EMDR, CPT, motivational interviewing, person-centered, strengths-based, and relational approaches. When helpful - especially with teens - I may also incorporate simple creative or experiential activities to support expression and engagement. Therapy is always tailored to your needs, goals, and pace.
Whether you’re seeking support during a difficult season, working through past experiences, or looking for deeper personal growth, I’m honored to walk alongside you in this process.
Therapeutic Approach & Modalities
My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in real-life practicality. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel safe, understood, and empowered — not pressured or judged. Sessions feel conversational while remaining clinically thoughtful, goal-oriented, and tailored to your unique needs.
I use an eclectic approach, drawing from multiple evidence-based modalities depending on your goals, preferences, and what’s most helpful in the moment, including:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Dialectical Behavior Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
Cognitive Processing Therapy
Motivational Interviewing
Person Centered
Strengths Based
Relational
I often incorporate creative and experiential activities (such as simple art, games, or interactive exercises) to support expression, engagement, and emotional awareness.
Therapy is always individualized — whether you’re an adult or teen, we’ll move at your pace and focus on what matters most to you.
